Steph Alvarez’s (b.1989) works revolve around nature and its relation with femininity. Using the themes of flowers, Alvarez articulates experiences specific to women. Since she began exhibiting in 2015, she has been part of group exhibitions in art galleries and spaces across Metro Manila. She first held her first show in 2020.

An architect by training, Alvarez was a self-taught artist, who, since picking up the brush, have explored and worked on different media. Having been an illustrator, different brands and companies have commissioned her, such as Guess and Regatta.
