Visual artist and sculptor Anna Orlina (b. 1992) has been exposed to the art world ever since she was a child. Glass as an art medium is not only one that she chose, but one that she was also born into. Her father, Ramon Orlina, has been a self-taught coldworking glass sculptor since 1975. He is even considered as the “Father of Philippine Glass Sculpture”.

Anna graduated from De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde, one of the top art schools in Manila, where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Multimedia Arts. There she learned the basics of art, graphic design, photography, film, web design, 2D & 3D animation, and sound design.

Leaning pioneering techniques in glass making in prestigious institutions such as Vyšší Odborná Škola Sklářská a Střední Škola, Corning Museum of Glass, and Pilchuck Glass School, Anna has now started her own coldworking studio in Manila, Philippines which finished in June of 2022. She has started to make some glass works and sculptures.
