Atsuko Yamagata

Atsuko Yamagata (b. 1982, Sapporo City, Hokkaido, Japan) has been practicing visual arts since 2006. Yamagata obtained her degree in Foreign Studies from Tokyo University with a major in Indonesian language: Southeast Asian Cultural Studies. In Manila, her works were presented in solo exhibitions at Finale Art File, MO_ Space, West Gallery, and at Underground Gallery. She participated at the 6th Nakanojo Biennale in Gunma Prefecture (Japan) and was featured in exhibitions in Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia.
