Starting as a pop surrealist artist, Kevin Balboa (b. 1991) has consistently narrated the bizarre in everyday objects. From giving a nod to pop culture icons, Balboa has created his own characters with seemingly lives of their own as they evolve, transfiguring into a whole other species on the canvas.

A graduate of fine arts from University of Santo Tomas, Balboa began participating in exhibitions in 2009. Since then, he has showcased his works across different art galleries in the country, and has held four solo exhibitions to date. Active in art competitions too, Balboa has made it as a semi-finalist in MADE Art Competition in 2017, and a finalist in Don Papa Rum Art Competition in 2018.
