Nicole Bitas is a visual artist who finds inspiration in the mundanity of daily life. These may be the morning introspections, idle moments in the afternoon, or conversations at the dinner table, among others. Her works often incorporate a humorous palette and amorphous shapes into scenes of everyday encounters in an attempt to highlight the beauty and fun in the ordinary.

She received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts – Painting degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman, to which she graduated with Latin honors and as an Outstanding Thesis awardee.
