A virtouso illustrator and artist for children’s books and various other published materials, Rommel Joson has received awards for painting, illustration, comics and design from various organizations such as the Philippine Board of Books for the Young, the Shell National Art Competition, and the Neil Gaiman Fully Booked Graphic Fiction Competition. He has also worked hand-in-hand with veteran writer Augie Rivera in creating “Isang Harding Papel”, a storybook inspired by the narratives of the Martial Law Regime.
