Growing up in Baguio, I would watch the sunrise on my way to school and the sunset from my room when I came home.
Here in Manila, long work hours and tall buildings have taken that view away.
This exhibition is my attempt to reclaim a piece of the sky—and to share it with those willing to pause and look. Though abstract, these works trace my memories of light and the dazzling spectrum of colors along the horizon. Reclaim A Piece of Sky is about finding one’s own space and time once more—about returning to ourselves after all the busyness and noise.
