Moving Still is an exploration of the in-between moments of life in movement. The beauty of the pauses is often overshadowed by the presence of momentous chapters. Nicole Bitas encourages the viewers to participate in the stillness in motion, showcasing bits and pieces of the journey shared in intimacy through body language portrayed by the subjects. Everyday moments, seemingly ordinary gestures, collaborated by objects in place narrating the scenery that occurred. The expression of care without words spoken just actions taken, the number of cups revealing the presence of another. Small details that build up the story, significant in its existence, solidified by its results.
