To view objects allows us to imagine worlds, constructed by our experience
and observations, that could have been witnessed by different lives.
Japanese artist Keiko Yokoyama and Indonesian artist Ufa Faizah create visual
stories in their art by incorporating objects that are usually associated with
children. These objects, such as dolls and stuffed animals, not only visualize a
world lived through the eyes of a child but allow us to reflect on the symbolic
themes that a child might encounter as they grow up.
