Oregon-based artist Morgan Rosskopf’s (b.1987) works tend to overwhelm the viewers’ visual senses, and are meant to do so. Deep within her textured floral cut-outs, combined with watercolor and graphite illustrations, are polarities she wants to put into question. Believing that opposing forces will always exist, Rosskopf surrenders herself to these elements, awaiting whatever revelation would come after the collision.

Rosskopf holds a BFA in printmaking from Sonoma State University and an MFA in fine arts from the University of Oregon. She has exhibited in group shows across the United States and Japan. Her first solo exhibition was held in the Philippines through Galerie Stephanie in 2018. She is a recipient of multiple residencies and grants. On top of her creative practice, Rosskopf also works as a floral designer.
