Parallel Weathers

Being inseparable to our world, weather has been involved in our most valued memories. As life cannot be expressed with mere words, abstract art speaks in a language of the unexplainable, stemming within our human consciousness, leading us all to one goal — understanding the self.

Korean artist, Hae Ryun, accompanies every brush with psychological intent. Her works are reflective pieces, intending us to see her work through time, memory, and space. Similarly, Spanish artist Cristina Gamón’s work reminisces on nature with the addition of experimentation on the canvas itself. By using transparent acrylic sheets, the transparency itself becomes an enhancement to the viewer’s experience — offering depth that descends deeper throughout the viewer’s psyche.
